Tacoma Trenchless Pipe Repair

Tacoma Trenchless Pipe RepairAre you a Tacoma homeowner in need of sewer repair? Most plumbers are using trenchless sewer repair these days, but if you don’t know much about it, read on to see why Tacoma trenchless sewer repair is the best option for fixing difficult sewer lines.
1. By using the technology available to them, Tacoma plumbers can easily check your home and sewer lines to see where the problem is and fix it. In the case of winter weather and frozen ground, using this technology can prevent the need to dig up lines or worse– waiting for the ground to thaw, which no one wants to do.
2. Since trenchless repair can usually be done from two small access points at the end of the pipeline, the whole sewer system will not have to be uncovered. This saves you both time and money.
3. Even more time can be saved with Tacoma trenchless sewer repair just by the methods used. One method is called pipe relining. In this method, a plumber places a fiberglass liner inside of a damaged pipe. Then the pipes are sealed, staying strong for a long time. The other method is called pipe bursting and is implemented by bursting the old damaged pipe as the new pipe is pulled through. The plumber will use the old pipe as a guide for where to lay the new pipe. Since these methods scratch the need for digging up your yard and the money that you would have to pay to set it back right, they also end up saving you money in the long run.
Now that you know about trenchless pipe repair, you can make a more informed decision before you call your Tacoma plumber.

Seattle Water Heaters

Storage water heaters are by far the most common type of water heater in the U.S. today. Ranging in size from 20 to 80 gallons (or larger) and fueled by electricity, natural gas, propane, or oil, storage water heaters work by heating up water in an insulated tank. When you turn on the hot water tap, hot water is pulled out of the top of the water heater and cold water flows into the bottom to replace it. Because heat is lost through the walls of the storage tank (this is called standby heat loss), energy is consumed even when no hot water is being used. New energy-efficient storage water heaters contain higher levels of insulation around the tank, substantially reducing standby heat loss.
